We left the ship at 7.30 from Haifa and were met by Shraga the guide assigned by Sharona, in a Mercedes van. He took us to the Coptic and Christian sites. Like Church of Annunciation in Nazareth and Marys Well. Then we continued on through the green Jordan valley to Jerusalem to Mt olives and Garden of Gethsemane. On to old city of Jerusalem, walk through the old city markets where we had lunch at a local cafe of national dishes most made of chickpeas which I hate but they were delicious. After we visited the Wailing Wall, Church of Holy Sepulchre. We were dropped off at our hotel booked via Sharona. Next day we were picked up at 7.20 am and set off for Masada.  The highlight of my trip was ascending in cable car up Masada and spending over 2 hours there. It was wonderful.  Continued to the Dead Sea floating in the water.  Ended the tour with Oasis of Ein Gedi and waterfalls then past quorum caves where the Dead Sea scrolls were found and back to the ship with plenty of time. We were a party of 5 couples. It was a great experience.
